Snowglobe 7 is one of the buildings set up to contain sheets of Ice to preserve them against global warming. It is situated in Dubai. Due to Snowglobe's being extremly expensive to maintain many are sold off as visitor attractions. Snowglobe 7 is one of only three left that is purely scientific. The section of ice within it contained the last Gappa, this was unknown to the Humans. The Gappa killed some humans on maitanence and used their bodies as host for furthur Gappa. Service robot Twelve collapsed several of the tunnels in the ice of Snowglobe 7 in an attempt to kill the Gappa, it failed. The Doctor detonated the engine of a ship that had crashed in the ice thousands of years ago, this killed the Gappa but destroyed the Snowglobe and melted the ice.

	The Many Hands - BBC Books / by Dale Smith / RRP: £6.99
