Here is what you had to say about the story in the
DWO
Forums:
"Quite easily my favourite episode in the series so
far, and that includes ‘Dalek’. I thought this one had everything,
fantastic performances, great costume and set design, and most
importantly of all a very good story.
From the pre title sequence with the old woman walking towards the
camera and screaming, to the close, with the Doctor telling Rose that
Charles Dikens(sic) wouldn’t live long enough to write about his
experiences with them, this episode was great television.
I think it’s already obvious though, that the better stories seem to
come from the pens of those other than RTD. Everyone is aware of how
good a writer he is, but it just seems that the true feeling of Doctor
Who seems to shine that bit brighter when given to someone else.
Here’s looking forward to the rest of the series, after all these years,
it still seems strange to have him back on the television, but since he
is, let’s hope that we can keep him there..."

"It is a very cool episode, brings me back to Talons
of Weng Chiang and The Ultimate Foe great special effects even we get to see
Charles Dickens read parts of his book The Christmas Carol..."

"This episode was
stronger than the first two I thought, but that may be because it was more
traditional to the old Who, which I am used to. It returned to the genre of
Gothic horror, and there were some very scary moments. I'm surprised Mark
Gatiss' other episode(The Idiot's Lantern)turned out to be so weak. 4/5 for
the Unquiet Dead..."
