Synopsis
The Doctors embark on their greatest adventure in this 50th-anniversary special. In the 21st century, something terrible is awakening in London's National Gallery; in 1562, a murderous plot is afoot in Elizabethan England; and somewhere in space, an ancient battle reaches its devastating conclusion. All of reality is at stake as the Doctor's own dangerous past comes back to haunt him.
Additional Information
Working Title:
The No Doctors - (tentative title by Steven Moffat, owing to the fact that Jenna Coleman was the only actor under contract when pre-production began).

Things to look out for:
The Day Of The Doctor is the sixth official multi-Doctor, televised story.
-  The access code for Captain Jack's vortex manipulator is '1716231163' - the time and date that An Unearthly Child aired in 1963 (17:16pm, 23/11/63).
Tom Baker returns for the first time (not counting archive footage), since his final appearance as The Doctor in Logopolis (1981).
Jenna-Louise Coleman is credited as Jenna Coleman from this epsiode onwards.

Archive:
The complete episode exists.

Bloopers:
-  In the final shot where The 11th Doctor joins all the Doctors on the cloud, you can see the door handle on his TARDIS is missing.
Billie Piper is incorrectly credited as Rose in the end credits. Billie played The Moment in the story.
